Since I have known Christ

My life has been bright

After been washed white

To live as the Light

And have faith for fight

He took away my fright

My fear, even at night

Always there by my right

And holding me so tight

Not leaving me a slight

Forever helping in my plight

Making me rise to my full height

Moving ahead with grace and might

This is marvelous in my sight
